Inauguration of a Nursing School in Mont-Lubin by Polytechnics Mauritius Limited in collaboration with the Health Commission.
A historic moment for the people of Rodrigues on Wednesday 20 March 2024 with the inauguration of a Nursing School by Polytechnics Mauritius Limited. Ceremony held in the presence of the Chief Commissioner Mr. Franceau Aubrey Grandcourt G.O.S. K, The Commissioner of Health Mr. Jean Nicolas Volbert, the Executive Director, Professor Theesan BAHORUN G.O.S.K and the CEO Mr. Yamal Matabudul.
In his speech on the occasion, the Commissioner of Health explained that he is delighted with the realization of this project because it is a project that was close to his heart. The journey to completion of this project was not easy and it took a lot of perseverance to get there.
With the arrival of the Nursing School, the training of medical staff will now take place in Rodrigues, and is in line with the upcoming arrival of the modern hospital.
